Pseudosection Modeling and Zircon Geochronology of Barroisite Eclogites from the Antarctic Ross Orogen Kim T Do you think your barroisite inclusion is an original phase? It could be a former Na-amphibole, which was reequilbrtaed during eclogite facies stage.
Sorry for being late, Shah. Yes, I suspect sodic precursor such as glaucophane. Also coexisting is titanite and relict albite within garnet. Prograde stage under blueschist-facies conditions are possible. Thank you for your interest. Taehwan

Why do you propose an exhumation stage between the two zircon growth/recrystallisation episodes? What was controlling re-equilibration or growth of new zircon?
Two metamorphic zircon ages, which are clearly distinct (c. 15 my), and the corresponding pressure conditions, when converted to depths, together indicate too slow burial rate. So intervening exhumation stage is necessary. Zircon growth is governed by metamorphic reactions whereby major Zr-bearing minerals are consumed such as cpx and amp, resulting in the production of eclogitic garnet.
