[Thank you for your interesting presentation. We want to prioritize questions from the audience over the questions from the conveners, but if there is time and no other questions, please feel free to address these questions.] 1) How thick of an atmosphere was required for the global climatic effects and increased weathering resulting from basin-forming impacts? 2) Aside from the predicted spherule layer, how would you distinguish between "background" weathering and impact-caused weathering if Mars had a thick atmosphere in the Noachian? Is the alteration mineralogy of the Noachian consistent with hot rainfall, for example? 3) Is any apparent increase in weathering of the impact basins not just a result of long-lived post-impact hydrothermal circulation (e.g., Schwenzer and Kring (2012; Geology); Schwenzer et al.
