From Ruth Tinnacher: Very interesting presentation, Sarah. Thank you! A brief, general question: What are the benefits of using ceramics over glass as nuclear waste forms?

A very good work particularly given the difficulty in handling Pu synthesis and characterization! I have three questions related: i) Did you see an ideal lattice expansion in pyrochlore? ii) Did you see evidence of forming defect fluorite or weberite in high Pu dopant level (or expect to see?)? iii) Whether Pu can enter B site perhaps by charge-coupled?
