ymplectite Formation in Paragneiss Restites from the Gföhl Unit, Bohemian Massif Sorger D, Hauzenberger CA, Finger F & Linner M You have nice compositional zoning garnet. I see that you used grs content for your pressure estimate, which is fine. But the lowest grs in your annuli garnet is about 12 mol % and the highest about 25 mol%. Based on this, your core garnet should give about 0.7 GPa at 550oC based on your pseudosection and maybe more than 2 GP, if you assume the rim was formed at 750 oC or higher.
Unfortunately, the label seems to be missing, but the values for grs are shown on the secondary y-axis on the right side of the garnet profile diagrams. So the grs values are only 3 to 5 mol% in the cores and 5 to 9 mol% in the annuli.

Thanks for uploading an interesting presentation Dominik! Some really beautiful microstructures, which are always great to see. For your symplectite modelling, how did you go about deciding on a bulk composition? This is obviously super important when applying equilibrium approaches to disequilibrium microstructures, in particular. Were the chemical compositions in the lamellate spatially heterogeneous?
