Hi Charles, please see my comments to Robert (previous talk). Quite a strange coincidence that you both have the same general observation. I had several dozen examples of rutile surrounded by titanite, and usually exactly these rutiles were too low in U to be datable. Now that we have two examples here in this session, there may be plenty other out there, perhaps even published...
