Which elements did you consider the most impotant to analyze?
Thank you for your great question. For the electron microprobe analysis, I analyzed Ca, K, Na, Si, Al, Mg, Fe, Ti and Ba. The PLSR model includes Ca, K, Na, Si and Al (major elements of the crystal structure for the alkali- and plagioclase solid solution series). I have chosen these 5 elements because most of the other elements were below detection limit. I hope I could answer your question.
