Thanks for the great presentation! I'm wondering: Does the low recovery of REEs from Wishbone Hill samples relate to a low % of Fe(III) in those samples? Or perhaps a more crystalline (i.e. less reducible) form of Fe(III) in that sample? That is, did you observe Fe(II) being produced in your Shewanella cultures on the Wishbone samples?
