Thanks for your contribution. Sorry for my ignorance - but I feel Cs is not an essential element for plants. Thus, why do plants uptake Cs at all? I guess the background of your study is the uptake of radioactive Cs isotopes. Thus, were higher Cs activities observed in (aquatic) plans in response to the Chernobyl incident?
