Role functions

Details for: Nina Zeyen

Nina joined the Environmental Economic Geology Laboratory in June 2018 as a postdoctoral research fellow. She is working on accelerated carbonation of kimberlite (diamond) mine tailings. She is interested in microbial biomineralization and relations between carbonates and clay minerals. She obtained her Ph.D. at University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France). Her Ph.D. focused on modern Mexican microbialites with the objective to access the respective roles of the environment versus biological activity in their formation.
