I study the metamorphism of rocks and the origin of granites by crustal anatexis. With coworkers in the ACME Group (www.eurispet.eu/ACME) and collaborations worldwide we combine field work, microstructures, petrology and experiments in the characterization, understanding and modelling of melting and formation of melt inclusions (nanogranites) in migmatites ad granulites.
