Registration Fees, listed in Euros, include:

Accompanying Guest Registration

Accompanying guests can buy a daily ticket (20€), which will admit them for one day of their choice and for the Opening Reception on Sunday, August 13th. Guests can also buy a registration for the whole conference (100€).

All accompanying guests will receive a namebadge, entrance to the Opening Reception on Sunday, August 13th and Morning and Afternoon Coffee. Registered accompanying guests are invited to purchase lunch tickets, and tickets for the social events. Accompanying guests are not allowed to enter the scientific sessions or be authors on submitted abstracts.

Registration Terms and Procedures

Payment: Payment is accepted by online credit/debit card or by bank transfer only. If you pay by bank transfer you MUST pay all the fees, otherwise your registration can not be accepted. Bank transfers may not be used for payment for on site registration.

Early registration rates: Payment in full must be received by June 13th, 2017 in order to benefit from the reduced registration rates. Delegates with registration payments outstanding on this date will then need to pay the standard registration fee. The standard registration process will be available until July 13th 2017, after which delegates will have to register at the on site rate (which is higher and registration materials will not be ready for collection on arrival).

Confirmation: Your registration and payment will be confirmed by email. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed until payment has been received. Once you have completed your registration and payment, you will receive confirmation via email. This confirmation will include your registration receipt.

Non-member Registration: Non-members Registrants will become members of the European Association of Geochemistry as part of the registration fee, your EAG membership becomes active after the conference. Your membership will be for the remainder of the year and all of calendar year 2018.

Mentoring Program

All delegates are welcome to sign up for our free mentoring program when they register. The mentoring program offers a unique opportunity for experienced scientists to guide and advise the next generation, and for early career scientists to learn from the best.

Letter of Invitation to Attend the Conference

A letter of invitation is issued solely for the purpose of assisting participants with visa applications and/or to obtain funding for their attendance at the conference. If you require a letter of invitation, please register and pay for the conference. Once the payment has been received, visit your registration page and click on the "Invitation Letter" button. This will then ask for full details for issuing the invitation letter. The conference office will only be able to respond to queries if an invitation request has already been completed online. Inviations can only be posted by Air Mail, delegates must allow at least 12 working days for their invitations to arrive.

Lunch

Lunches are available to purchase in advance. Boxed lunches will cost €12 per lunch. Please sign into your Goldschmidt account to purchase lunches via the conference website. Standard box lunch comes with a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cookie/brownie and bottled water. Some special dietary requirements can be catered for, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. Halal and Kosher lunches may be catered for and if you are interested in booking a Halal or Kosher lunch please email the helpdesk for more information. The caterer cannot guarantee that lunch boxes with special requirements will have a range of different foods on each day.

Cancellation Policy

Under EU rules, you may cancel your order within seven days of payment. If you wish to cancel your order and have your payment returned, please email helpdesk@goldschmidt.info.

Registration, Lunches, Workshops* and Social Event bookings: You must send written notification of registration cancellation by email to the . Registration cancellations received by June 13th 2017 (Early registration deadline) will receive a refund of their payments minus a €50 processing fee. No refunds can be issued for cancellations after June 13th 2017.

Field Trips: All field trip fees are non–refundable.

Abstracts: The abstract submission fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

In case of cancellation we strongly recommend that you check your travel insurance policy to ensure that it covers you for the costs of cancelling or cutting your trip short in certain circumstances.
*Workshops booked directly with the organiser will have their own cancellation policies and you should contact them directly about those.
