Congress Center

Goldschmidt2017 will be held in Le Palais des Congrès de Paris which is situated in one Europe's most exciting and beautiful cities.

Le Palais des Congrès is located next to the Porte Maillot station on the Metro 1 line. In order to reach the Le Palais des Congrès - use the exit which takes you into the Mall and proceed up the escalators found there. It is also possible to reach Le Palais des Congrès via the RER C service. However, this line will be undergoing works during the summer so please do not plan to be able to use this to travel to the venue.

There are many excellent bars and restaurants in the area but as it is one of the more expensive areas of Paris you may need to travel to find lower cost accommodation options. Due to its proximity to the Porte Maillot metro station, the congress centre has easy trasport links to Paris city centre and the major landmarks of this transcendant city.

In order to help you make the most of your time in Paris at the conference, the Goldschmidt2017 Local Organising committee have marked several locations of interest (museums, galleries, parks, monuments & lunch spots) within walking distance of the congress center on this map.

Le Palais des Congrès de Paris is one of the largest and best-equipped European centres and allows us to have all talks, posters, exhibitors and refreshments under the same roof. As a focal point of European culture, Paris is an ideal location for Goldschmidt2017.
