Details for: Larissa Schneider

I am an environmental researcher, with expertise in the study of i) metal biogeochemical cycles; ii) history of metal contamination in sediments and iii) past climate change on tropical and temperate ecosystems. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the ANU and my research currently focus on the application of geochemistry in archaeological and palaeoecological studies. I am specially interested on the impact of climate variability and human activity on terrestrial ecosystems of Australia and Papua New Guinea, including the modern and historic atmospheric Hg fluxes in this region.
