The influx of foreign cultures meant that Yokohama became an active site for culinary excellence. There are many tasty cuisines to experience in the city. For example, the 68th floor of Landmark Tower is given over to French, Chinese and Japanese restaurants. The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum features a recreation of 1950’s Tokyo and many ramen noodle soup outlets. Yokohama’s Chinatown has over 200 restaurants and the favoured dish of the district is Nikuman, which is bread stuffed with pork and vegetables.
