The results of the estimation of the contamination levels by carcinogenic benzo(a)pyrene [B(a)P] are represented in environmental in this report.

The main attention in this ivestigation is paid the examination compounds of exhausted gases which are formed during the process of natural gas burning in combustion chamber fuel-using equipment and the circulation of B(a)P in environmental objects.

B(a)P being the product of noncomplite oxidation of the methane and other heavier hydrocarbons gas fuel has high carcinogenic activity and represents itself the 1 dangerous cathegory concering toxicity sign.

The purpose of this investigation to make inventory exhausts gas-pumping facilities on B(a)P and also definition its concentration the different natural mediums.

The work has been performed at industrial objects of gas pipelines united system: compressor plants, subsurface storage gas stations and gas processing and gasextractive enterprises as well.

It is foundedout a carcinogenic B(a)P in availability in the exhausted fumes gas-pumping facilities and its concentration fluctuats in a great range depending on unit tipes, expluatation conditions and on number of other factors.

B(a)P is discovered in all investigated environmental spheres gas industry enterprises however its levels do not exceed maximal permissible concentration in the most samplies.

The study of the sourses of the origin and the conformity to natural lows B(a)P distribution is in progress.
