Biogeochemical modeling is a powerful tool to evaluate temperature effect on carbon cycle in the ocean. I wonder whether it is possible for the authors to incorporate the microbial carbon pump concept (see the keynote talk abstract) into your model so that the forams can represent carbon budget in the water column including both DIC and dissoloved organic carbon.
